SUMMARY:Taking Pride: Healthier Relationships Workshops
DESCRIPTION:SASC is partnering with Stigma and Resilience Among Vulnerable Youth Centre (@saravyc.ubc) and the McCrearyCentre (@mccrearyyouth)\, with their Youth Research Academy to empower 2SLGBTQ+ students with knowledge and skills for nurturing healthy romantic relationships and friendships. Learning to spot warning signs\, mastering strategies for better communication\, and fostering supportive connections – these are just a few highlights of our exciting six-week journey. \nDive into peer-led discussions\, guided by our amazing facilitators\, as we explore topics from consent to conflict resolution. Each one-hour-long session will include light refreshments\, with meetings taking place on Wednesdays starting at 5:30 pm on the following dates: \nBecause love is love\, and it’s always worth understanding\, respecting\, and protecting. \nRSVP using this Google form to attend!
